Originally, when I started high school, I wanted to be a computer engineer. I had all my classes in programming, technological engineering and similar subjects. After about 2 months, with a 52% mark in programming, I quickly realized, that the world of programming was not for me. This was a somewhat shock for my family, as they all thought that I would have a career in computers. I quickly realized, that I started becoming extremely social and I could never do a career that involved staring at my computer all day. This then, encouraged me to look for a career path that involved me socializing constantly and being on my feet. It was at this moment, that I realized I had a passion for business.
When I finished high school, I was taking every single business course my school offered, and those 50’s in programming changed to 90’s in business. By the time I was done my last year of school, I had graduated with honors and had made it into my program of choice in university. I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Commerce degree from York University.
I started working at Breckles Insurance, during the summer, as I needed a summer job. Around the end, I realized that I wanted to stay, as I loved the flexibility, dexterity and variety of my job. The company, furthermore, has a great corporate culture, as well as a highly welcoming environment.
